New Event: Introduction to Studio Photography with Hannah Lunn
York Photographers is part of the York Creatives network, supporting York’s creative sector to connect, learn and grow. I was extremely excited to hold my new event, an Introduction to Studio Photography workshop at XR Stories @ The Guildhall York.
Hosted by XR STORIES in their stunning studios at The Guildhall in York city centre, I was thrilled to be conducting a workshop with local York photographers. I covered everything everything from 3 x lighting setups with two lights, using both strobe and constant lighting, to posing and directing models - And helping attendees to shoot their own studio images.
This workshop was designed for both beginners and seasoned pros, and a great chance to network with other likeminded photographers and to improve their photography studio skills.
The Evening
The evening went really well, I had some fantastic questions, everyone got involved, and the photos were amazing. For some, it was their first time in a studio. One participant was only 14! I was extremely happy - and had permission to share the images below from attendee Stuart Duthie.
