For this fashion photography series, we wanted a minimalist, street-style backdrop to let the clothing do all the talking. We used this London-style street to really bring attention to the modernistic designs in a high-fashion way.

Tatiana's designs feature gorgeous, flattering material and are handcrafted from her home studio. Her clothing is best known for her staple two piece sets, beautiful flared sleeves, high slit skirts and gorgeous ruching.

Steel City

The Steel City fashion editorial is a striking visual narrative that was published in Moevir Paris Magazine. The shoot features the stunning Izzy Holliday as the model, whose edgy yet sophisticated style perfectly embodies the gritty industrial charm of Sheffield.

The shoot was conducted in the unique and unconventional space of Zavod studio in Sheffield, which provided a stunning backdrop for the images. With its textured walls, factory elements, raw concrete floors and gritty outdoor areas the studio added a sense of urban grunge to the fashion editorial.

First Comes Love

As a photographer, I've always been fascinated by the idea of self-love and acceptance, and that's why I was thrilled to work on this project that aimed to promote the power of loving yourself before anyone else. We wanted to create a photoshoot that showcased the beauty of women of all shapes and sizes, and how they can celebrate their authentic selves.

We started by carefully selecting a diverse range of models with different body shapes, sizes, and skin colours. Our aim was to show that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and every woman deserves to feel confident and empowered in their skin.

We then collaborated with Quinlan Couture Bridal, a bridal gown supplier, to showcase their stunning collection of wedding dresses. We knew that by having different models showcase these dresses, we could demonstrate how the right dress can make every woman feel like a queen on her special day.

Our focus was on capturing the models in their most authentic and natural state, without any artificial poses or poses that made them uncomfortable. We wanted the models to shine and exude confidence in their individuality, rather than fitting into a predetermined mold of what society deems as 'beautiful.'

We worked closely with each model to help them feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. This involved creating a safe and welcoming environment where they could be themselves and showcase their unique personalities.

The photoshoot was a great success, and we were thrilled with the results. Each model looked absolutely stunning in their dress, radiating confidence and beauty from within. We were proud to have been a part of such a meaningful project that aimed to promote self-love, self-acceptance, and empowerment for women of all shapes and sizes.

In conclusion, our project was a testament to the power of embracing and celebrating your authentic self. We hope that our photoshoot inspires other women to love and accept themselves just as they are, and to feel confident and empowered in their own skin.

Na Zavode

Influenced by the industrial, grungy feel of Zavod Studio's factory elements, this aesthetic combines soft beauty with a infusion of Russian brutalism.

What sets this particular aesthetic apart is the delicate balance between the roughness of the industrial elements and the softness of the beauty that is Xenia. It's almost as if the two opposing forces come together to create a perfectly harmonious whole. The interplay between the starkness of the industrial and the softness of the fashion & beauty element in this work creates a visually arresting contrast that is both captivating and mesmerisng.

Moreover, this aesthetic also draws heavily from the Russian brutalist architecture, which is characterised by its rugged and unpolished concrete facades and a focus on functionality rather than aesthetics. The infusion of this brutalist element into the industrial aesthetic adds an extra layer of depth and complexity to the overall design, creating a sense of power and strength that is undeniable.

Every rose has it's thorn

"Every rose has its thorn" is a beauty photoshoot that was inspired by the classic Poison hit of the same name. For this set, we worked with the stunning Elle Model, focusing on capturing her natural and classic beauty in a simplistic and understated way.

One of the key elements of this shoot was the use of white sheets and beautiful roses as a backdrop and styling element. By keeping the set simple and clean, we were able to emphasise Elle's natural beauty and create a timeless and elegant look that perfectly suited the theme of the shoot.

Throughout the shoot, Elle brought her unique energy and style to the photographs, posing with confidence and grace and bringing the roses to life in a way that perfectly captured their beauty and elegance. We used a variety of lighting techniques to highlight the textures and colors of the roses, creating a dynamic and visually striking look that perfectly complemented Elle's natural beauty.

Perhaps one of the most unique aspects of this shoot was the fact that Elle was only wearing a white bedsheet, which added a sense of intimacy and sensuality to the images. By keeping the focus on her natural beauty and the delicate beauty of the roses, we were able to create a truly timeless and memorable series of photographs.

Overall, "Every rose has its thorn" is a stunning beauty set that perfectly captures the timeless elegance and beauty of classic roses. If you're looking for inspiration for your own beauty or fashion shoots, be sure to check out this set for a unique and memorable take on classic styling.

Showgirl

Featuring the talented Charlie Hex as my showgirl, inspired by her tattoos with the same name across her knuckles, for this project we decided to shoot at the iconic Antwerp Mansion in Manchester, which provided the perfect backdrop for our circus-inspired concept.

Our goal was to create a fashion-clown chic look that incorporated the whimsy and magic of the circus. To achieve this, we worked hard on the costumes, combining bright colours, bold patterns, and fun accessories to create outfits that were truly unique. We wanted the outfits to be playful and memorable, and I think we definitely achieved that goal.

But we didn't stop there - we wanted to take the shoot to the next level. That's why we decided to incorporate fire and stilts into the shoot. The use of fire added a layer of danger and excitement, while the stilts created a sense of height and grandeur that perfectly complemented the circus-inspired theme.

Shooting with fire can be a challenge, but we took all necessary precautions to ensure that everyone was safe throughout the shoot. The result was some truly stunning images that capture the essence of the circus in a way that's both fun and mesmerizing.

The images were published in SELIN MAGAZINE's "Showgirl" issue
