2023 round up!

Well, 2023 was a blast. My most productive and successful year yet! Keep reading to see my yearly roundup!

York Fashion Photographer

I moved to York last November, and since I've been trying to establish myself as a photographer in the beautiful city and lay down my roots. Since moving, I have been able to work with some amazing people and businesses in York - and have loved being a part of the York Fashion Week media team.

Shortlisted in the Yorkshire Creator Awards!

It was an honour to be nominated as photographer of the year 2023 in the Yorkshire Creator Awards (Previously known as the Yorkshire Blogger Awards). It was a night to remember at the prestigious Yorkshire Blogger Awards, held at The Queens Hotel in Leeds on Saturday, 30th September 2023.

New Client Wins

It's been an exciting year for working with new small businesses on their brand strategy! Most of my projects have been establishing a visual content strategy for website refreshes, and offering editorial style fashion and beauty packages to bring these websites to life. To everyone I've worked with this year - Thank you so much!

New Photography Studio!

I was so happy to announce my brand new, inspiring photography studio - Luxe Noir Studios. A space where I can really get stuck into amazing projects with clients and creatives. Take a look at our showreel, created on our opening day by the amazing Craig - Vintsta360.

New Exhibition!

As a Yorkshire-based artist, I was honoured to have my fashion photography work featured in the Open Gallery Halifax's Spring exhibition in May 2023. The exhibition's theme celebrates the arrival of spring, and my project, titled "Spring Dreaming," perfectly encapsulates this idea.

Guest Lecturing

I was thrilled to be invited back to my old stomping ground over at Wolverhampton College to give a talk to their Photography & Art students currently studying their higher education.

This opportunity means a lot to me as a Black Country gal. I attended the College myself back in 2010-2012 before moving onto Wolverhampton University. I always feel a special connection to my hometown, as gorgeous as Yorkshire is - I only moved here back in 2016 and I am very proud of my yam-yam roots.
