Guest Lecture at the City of Wolverhampton College
I am thrilled to be invited back to my old stomping ground over at Wolverhampton College to give a talk to their Photography & Art students currently studying their higher education.
This opportunity means a lot to me as a Black Country gal. I attended the College myself back in 2010-2012 before moving onto Wolverhampton University. I always feel a special connection to my hometown, as gorgeous as Yorkshire is - I only moved here back in 2016 and I am very proud of my yam-yam roots.
I'll be presenting a talk about Fashion, Beauty and Editorial Photography. I'll be talking about my own background and experiences, clients I've worked with and how I made the journey from sitting exactly where the students are, to running my own freelance photography business and a Leeds-based photographic studio.
I'll be discussing my clients, from collaborations and working to a brief with small online businesses, to running digital projects for the world's leading brands. I'll also speak about my publications, how I go about telling a story through a visual narrative.
