York Fashion Week / SS 2024
No relaxing for me this Bank Holiday weekend…As I was lucky enough to be photographing York Fashion Week.
I’ve had the best weekend photographing and meeting inspirational creatives from models, designers and brands who’ve all come together in the name of fashion.

BREAST FRIENDS RUNWAY SHOW
This amazing runway showcased the best of Browns of York Department Store fashion - Modelled by exceptional models moving on from a breast cancer diagnosis. The night supported a wonderful charity supporting individuals and families with breast cancer, Breast Friends.
YORK MANNEQUINS
We bought the bustling city streets of York to life with York Fashion Week’s amazing models. With participating shops including Master Debonair (Have you spotted their Star Wars display?!) Fenwick, Hobbs, Porters, Jigsaw and Dog & Bone. Bypassers were left bemused and waving at our lovely models, doing their thing in the best of York’s high streets.
MY GENERATION
Representation matters. We joined amazing model and presenter Rachel Peru for a gorgeous evening featuring a runway show and panel discussion, celebrating the gift of aging with a group of mature models.
ESTEE LAUDER AFTERNOON TEA
In collaboration with Browns of York, we visited the lovely hotel venue Middletons for a luxury afternoon tea and makeup masterclass by Estee Lauder’s national professional representative, Kaitlyn Turlin. Guests even enjoyed a cheeky gin tasting by my personal favourite - York Gin.
VIKING VOGUE
York’s famous JORVIK Viking Centre opened it’s doors for an exclusive set tour to discuss Viking fashion, textiles and jewellery. They showed crafting demos and even a walk around their immersive set after hours. I was lucky enough to get an exclusive viking fashion shoot with their authentic viking fashion.
THE INDIE RUNWAY SHOW
York Fashion Week’s standout runway - This year in the fabulous York Art Gallery. We had collections from fabulous independent designers in my favourite event.
PALENQUE'S SUMMER JEWELLERY COLLECTION
The amazing Palenque is an independant brand who combine traditional Mexican craftsmanship with contemporary design for the most uniqie jewellery. Palenque opened it’s doors for York Fashion Week to celebrate their stunning new summer collections.
A COSMOPOLITAN WEDDING RUNWAY
The finale of YFW SS 24, an incredible runway showcasing wedding attire from Harvey Nichols, Master Debonair and jewellery from Palenque.
